That is why we carefully plan our curriculum to expose students to the most relevant trends and techniques that are in demand in salons to supplement the technical and theory training that students receive in class.
The program covers the fundamentals of cosmetology with an added emphasis on barbering, men’s cuts and grooming as well as intensive makeup application training.

The Program
Our thorough cosmetology education training program incorporates makeup artistry and barbering.
The barbering unit features some of the following:
- Coloring, Cutting and Styling techniques
- “Repetition-to-Perfection” teaching/learning approach to build confidence in technique
- Contemporary men’s trends, styles, cuts and grooming theory and practice
The Cosmetology and Makeup units feature some of the following:
- Contemporary makeup application and artistry
- Hair cutting, styling, and coloring
- Standard sanitization practices and more
The Beauty Institute’s 1,250 hour program will prepare students for work as a stylist, colorist, makeup artist, or barber.
